Wow, this is actually a lot tougher than you might think. Sure, the same 15 images are on every card, but the simple colour variances and slight angle/position shifts make it very difficult to spot the one "same" image on any pair of cards. Add to that the fact that every player is competing to be the first to spot a matched pair and claim one of the cards. Winner is whoever has the most cards when all pairs are claimed out - of course, leaving a single card behind.

Other play options could include lining the cards up in a 3x3 grid (using any 9 of the 15 cards) and trying to claim 3 cards in a row, tic-tac-toe style, or playing to be the first to claim 5 cards, or playing to a set time limit... that kind of thing. There's a lot of potential for variation in this game, though perhaps not quite as much as some of the other games we trialled in this series.

Durable, clever and simple to learn, this is a game that will test the observation and analytical skills of your younger generation. My 11yr old son was a natural, kicking my butt two games out of three in timed 10-minute games. His ability to quickly spot the pairs - sometime on cards that were on opposite sides of the playing field - was nothing short of embarrassing, for me.

Overall, this was another hit for us, and one I certainly look forward to playing more. Well worth getting a copy - it may sit in the cupboard for a while between plays, but it's a perfect match for those "horrible rainy Winter days" when nothing else but sitting around the table playing a family games day works.

When you find a game that challenges both you and your kids you know you are on to a winner! This is brilliant.

The 15 glossy picture cards are made out of durable cardboard so won't easily be bent (especially by curious Miss One!). Each card has the same items pictured on it but each card has the items coloured differently and in different places on the card. With any two cards you look at there will be only one matching pair between the two cards. Very ingenious.

Miss Five and I played this over and over again and I must say there were times when I didn't always let her win! Its pretty tricky to actually see what's in front of you sometimes.

What I really liked about this is that it was easy enough for Miss Five to play by herself but challenging enough that we could play it together without me getting bored. It is also durable enough that it will last quite some time.

All the games under this brand have the same size box as well which makes stacking these easy. In case you need instructions in a different language they are also in Spanish and French.

This is a brilliant card game. See my reviews on the others in the series also, as these really are fantastic to challenge not only your brain but help develop that of your little ones. And most importantly they are FUN!
