Wow!!! What a great idea for a book on Dinosaurs. There have been many books written about Dinosaurs, but I cannot ever remember one that protrayed them quite like this.

Like most other Dinosaur books this one contains plenty of facts and figures so those who are into their statistics will be more that happy with that, but what I really liked about this book was all the life size representations of a part of each dinosaur. For instance one Dinosaur will show you a life size represenation of it's eye, whilst another will show you one of it's toes.

I think this is a wonderful and unique way of introducing children into the marvelous world of Dinosaurs and also serves to give you a better sense of exactly how big some of them really were.

When I gave this book to my 7 year old daughter she was like 'WOW' - she loved how the cover had raised bumps all over it and she spent ages just running her hands over this even before she got into reading the book.

She really loved how there was heaps of cool and interesting facts about Dinosaurs and how it shows lots of different types, she also is looking forward to when they get to do a project at school all about Dinosaurs and sharing all the neat facts like how big they were, how fast they went and how long they lived for and what they ate.

She found the fold out pages to be really big and colourful but it was very hard for her to pull them out and then to put them back into place again without creasing the corners. I feel it could have been trimmed back a little more rather than being flush with the spine.

Overall this is a great book, Has heaps of important facts and knowledge had my daughter intrigued for hours and even after she had read it once she keeps going back to read it again and again and in my book this is a great thing.
