Breakfast, Lunch, Tea is the first cookbook by Rose Carrarini, who co-founded the much-imitated delicatessen Villandry in London in 1988, and now serves her signature simple, fresh and natural food at Rose Bakery, the Anglo-French bakery and restaurant in Paris. Rose holds a passionate philosophy that, `life is improved by great food and great food can be achieved by everyone.` Simplicity, freshness and the ability to choose the right things to cook are the keys to success and, with Rose's guidance and recipes, perfection and pleasure are easily attainable.

Cookbooks are ten-a-penny. Useable cookbooks with good, wholesome foods that can be cooked at home whilst still attaining excellent results are in short supply. Most books are written by chefs using expensive and fancy ingredients to cater for the gourmet market, or to those who wish to have fine looking books on their book shelves.

Not me. I like cook books I can drool over, and more importantly use! I like to prepare dishes that are simple and can be enjoyed by many. And like many cooks, we want to be able to produce something stunning and tasty with ease.

Breakfast Lunch Tea, rather surprisingly starts off at breakfast, through to lunch and onwards to tea. Simple recipes - tasty recipes and plenty of full colour photographs on the way through the book. Food, people, produce and food all make the ingredients of one glorious recipe book to treat all ages and skills.
