Although I had heard of this product through a range of advertising mediums prior to being asked to review it, it was not a product I thought could possibly be as effective as the advertising blurb had suggested, I agreed to trial the product, primarily due to having two major pain areas, my thought process being, nothing ventured - nothing gained. I have used the cushion now for the past three weeks and have found that it lives up to its advertising completely. I suffer both from a long-term back injury and a more recent knee injury, with pain levels at times causing almost total incapacitation. In the past few years, I have undergone a wide range of medical interventions, both medical and surgical. The reduction in pain level from both oral and intra-muscular prescription medicines has been both minimal and short term. Since using the cushion however the reduction in pain levels in both the knee and lower lumbar regions has been notable, and in the three weeks I have been reviewing this product I have found it easy to use, unobtrusive and effective, and by using it daily, the need for pain medication has been noticeably reduced. During the past two weeks I have found it necessary to travel long distance on a daily basis, using public transport - something which, prior to using the cushion, would not have been possible. In fact the only problem I have identified with the cushion, is that it cannot be used in two places at once, resulting in the need to purchase a second cushion, which I intend to do. During the review period I found that the cushion has been very effective in reducing swelling, muscle spasms and pain levels, to a manageable level, and by using it for only 30 minutes per day, has resulted in a marked increase in my quality of life. |
