We've had this book for a while now and I'm glad I delayed writing this review. The cover of this bike is captivating with its beautiful photo of coloured glass objects. When I opened the book to first page I realised that this was going to be pretty amazing. Every page has a full A4 photo of a different scene that has been painstakingly and thoughtfully put together. The opposite page lists the items to look for within the picture.

My three girls and I have spent hours with this book and every picture is firstly delightful just to look at and then a lot of fun to find the hidden items. We don't tire of looking at all the pictures and with approximately 75 of them there are a lot to keep us entertained. It would be easy to dismiss this as just a simple book but each picture is just so captivating. all the scenes are very absorbing and very much appeal to a young age group as they are colourful and bight and full of child like scenes including toys and child centric things like gingerbread houses. There is absolutely nothing not to love about this book and I think it is one of the best search and find books I have seen.

Even better is that is inspiring for children and my girls have been constructing their own little Search and Find scenes so this book also fosters creativity. I really can't recommend this book enough and if you or your children enjoy I Spy type books then this will be perfect. For the price I think it is great value for many and certainly provides many hours of entertainment. It is brilliant to have when out and about with the big sisters activities to keep Miss Five entertained but also great for curling up on the couch on a rainy day. I am so pleased that we have this book and you will be too.

This book is packed full of hidden objects which will make fun for both adults and children alike. We have plenty of I spy type books on our bookshelf and have had many hours of fun looking for objects together as a family which is why when this book came up for review I was keen to take a look and share with my children aged 5 and 2.

Each puzzle has a variety of 10 things within the one picture to find. Some of the objects are everyday type objects where others challenge you by you having to find out what they are first. My older son and I like sitting down and finding objects that we really don't know what they are. This has introduced him to a wider vocab at a young age. It is not just recognising of words either but he also wants to know how or what something is used for e.g. spool and faucet. Being an American book there is quite a few words that are different than what we are used to but that just adds to the challenges and extends the vocab for both my sons and I.

I have really enjoyed having book like this with many puzzles in it in big format. I have found because my sons have already seen these types of books before they are quite often found just looking at the pictures and trying to work out what they need to find if mum or dad are not available to do the reading. I have also found that it has helped with recognising digits as for some you may have to find a certain number which my son quite happily will read himself now. This definitely is a book that will be revisited over and over again from both my sons and is a neat way for us all to be involved in a book as a family.
