What is scary is how fast a con can occur. Take a crowded restaurant, a man has a heart attack all eyes are focused on him. While unnoticed, a 'crew' goes shopping on the unweary audience. Wallets, bags, credit cards, jewellery - all can be taken within a blink of an eye and the unsuspecting victim is none the wiser. It is incredible how a group can work together especially in busy environments.

I am sure this movie is probably all fictional and highly exaggerated but it was still amazing to watch how a syndicate can operate. The acting was fantastic, but really with Will Smith taking the lead how can it not be? The script had its moments. It starts off rather slowly but picks up rather quickly and had my pulse quicken during the 'gambling scene at the big game'. It was during this stage that I had my first experience of whiplash as there are so many twists that occur throughout the movie you are left feeling rather dizzy at times.

I could not in good conscious recommend the soundtrack at all. It starts off way too loud and too fast for the movie. I am not a fan of jazz and to me it was just so overpowering. When the movie really starts to go it adjusts its tempo but still there are questionable moments.

It is not the sort of movie you could watch again. Once is enough as so much happens and even though it holds your attention it slips at times. The beginning is rather tedious and I assumed it was going to be a movie about nothing. I did enjoy the insights into how the criminal syndicates operate and how it explains as long as someone's attention is focused on something else you can do what you want with the mark. It was eye dropping to witness the crew working so simultaneously and so subtly. It is so wrong to be cheering for the bad dudes but its one of those movies you just sit back and take it as it comes.

It over explains itself at times and takes its time to set up the next plot but all can be forgiven when the end comes and you think 'wow I did not see that coming'. I love movies where you never know what will happen next or who you can trust and is what they are saying really true or is it all one big fabrication of the truth. A great mind twister.
