I love Cashew nuts and was very intrigued with this particular flavour in the Nuttz range. For some reason it sounded delicious and when I received a packet to review I got to taste how divine they really are!

There is an oddly fascinating flavour combination of sweet and savory which I thought made it taste amazing. My husband saw me open the packet and ask if he could have a try too, he thought they were pretty good and very "moreish". We decided to take this packet around to my parents place for them to have a try too. My mum didn't like them but my dad thought they were great and promptly finished the packet with my husband while I was out of the room.

I was pretty gutted that there weren't any left to be honest because I would have loved to use these cashews in a stir fry meal but sadly didn't get the chance but if I do happen to come across these again I'll be sure to buy some and test them out in cooking because I think they'd make a very unique, tasty ingredient. I'm not a huge fan of the price, I think it's a little bit on the high side compared to how big the packet it but in saying that, I personally would buy them if I saw them just because they are very different to anything else I've seen on the market and they have a variety of uses.

I think my dentures hate me. Actually, I know they do, but that is just fine because the feeling is mutual. One thing we both agree on though is that nuts in general are things we both hate dealing with, no matter how tasty they are. This is a real shame, because I became very fond of these nuts after eating only 4 or 5 of them. The flavour was incredible.

I was very pleased at the flavours, very authentic Mediterranean, with the cumin and coriander. I was wondering if the flavour was going to flake off the way it has with some of the other coated nuts I have eaten in the past. It didn't though, it stayed stuck long enough to get it all in my mouth and not all over my hand or the table.

I couldn't eat more than a few because of how bits kept getting under my upper plate and hurting my gums, so I gave the rest of the bag to my neighbour, who had come over to deliver the parcel from KIWIreviews. He really enjoyed them and was quick to ask where he could get some, but we nboth agreed that the price makes them more of a treat than a regular snack. For us oldies on tight budgets at least.

By the time we had agreed that these were utterly delicious (OK, so I had a couple more and just put up with the slight discomfort in my dentures. What can I say, I am an old man living on borrowed time, and I like to spend what I have left enjoying what I can still manage to get. hahaha.) they were all gone. So now, we start making plans on how to find more. And you should too.

This is an interesting combination of flavours. In this packet you will get the soft, the hard, and the crunchy. You will also get the sweet and the savoury. I wouldn't go as far as to say it is spicy, but the spices do make it rather savoury in flavour. Eating it piece by piece, I found the contrast of flavours was rather odd. It is much better eaten in small handfuls, to combine the flavours together.

In my honest opinion, I found this to be far too sweet for my taste. The savoury flavoured nuts were exceptional. I fully enjoyed the mix of cumin, tumeric, coriander, and other herbs and spices. In fact I would certainly pay the hefty price tag for a packet of nuts comprised solely of the savoury flavoured nuts. But the sweet "chunky caramelised" ones were just far too sugary.

Looking at the back of the packet, over 20g of sugar per 100g. It is certainly not anything that I would have on a regular basis, and not at that price. I will certainly keep an eye out for any packets with separated flavours. I could see the caramelised nuts making a nice adornment cupcakes, or cakes. But certainly not to my liking.
