Review #8763 - Dated: 8th of June, 2013 Author: kymmage |
I've been a little obsessed with pineapple since I had my baby. It was one of the recommended foods to avoid during pregnancy, which I did. But I 've always been a tropical girl at heart and my favourite drinks and food often involve a delicious mix of pineapple and coconut. When I saw this muesli on special at the supermarket on the weekend, I had to have it.
Like the Feijoa and Apple muesli I recently got, the box is a stubby rectangle. Its a bit wider than your normal box, which means I had to make a bit extra room in my cereal slot on the shelf. However, this has to be the funniest box I have read in a while. The recyclable blurb is cute, about the box's dreams of becoming a birthday card. The instructions to shake the packet wishes me a lovely day. And inside the box it has an art activity all laid out so when you are finished you have the option to re-purpose the cardboard.
The cereal itself though, is what you go back for time and time again. And this cereal is quite delicious. On each mouthful you can absolutely taste pineapple. There is twice the coconut in this as the other muesli I tried. You can't really taste it, but coconut is a subtle flavour so they've done their best there. The highlight for me is the yoghurt coated sultanas. I love yoghurt coated sultanas! I would definitely buy this one again.
