Simple really. It bored me. The characters had depth, but were low-energy... meaning they didn't really grab me, had no real focus and all seemed to be a little vague about their place in the plot. I struggled to make it through the first 3 chapters, cruised through the next couple, and basically skimmed the rest of the book, I found it that watery. Overall, not impressed, can't say much good, so won't say any more. |
