Being a child is fun!

MimiQ - the fun children's game that really makes the whole family act like a child - literally!

Make the facial expression on one of your cards to steal those cards from your opponent. If you don't have the card that your opponent is asking for, let them know by sticking your tongue out at them.

MimiQ exercises memory, facial muscles, sense of expression and social interaction - all while having hilarious fun!

Who doesn't enjoy a good gurning session?

Mimiq is designed for all those people who were told when they were younger not to pull faces as the wind might change and they will be stuck that way forever.

The basic premise of the game is much like that of "Go Fish" where you have to collect a set of cards by asking your opponents for the cards that you're after. The twist in this game however is that the asking is done by pulling the same face as the child is pulling on the card that you're asking for. If they don't have the card that you're after they respond by poking their tongue out at you.

While designed for kids, there is a sufficient challenge for most adults that would certainly keep anyone entertained with the various different faces that are pulled, and believe me, some of the faces are quite tough. The group we played with included our almost 5 year old daughter and she found it hilarious, especially with the faces the grown ups were making.

A fun game for the family on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Alternatively could be interesting as a drinking game for the grown ups.

Given this is a childs game we employed Miss 4.75 to help us out with our gameplay and review.

The rules were very easy to pick up by everyone including Miss 4.75 (she needs to learn NOT to show us all her cards). She had great fun trying to distort her face into all manner of expressions! The only real strategy in this game is in remembering what cards other players have asked for. That can easily help you make some trumps! (winning hands).

As adults playing it was a lot of fun as a family game, one I would add to our games cupboard. It's definitely got low appeal as a grown-up card game but there was one suggestion made that could make it more appealing once the kids where in bed....a drinking game perhaps? *ahem* ^;)

Thumbs up from Miss 4.75! ^up
