black-kat   Review #3605 - Dated: 7th of March, 2010

As I have probably mentioned in another review somewhere on this site before, I have a huge fascination with aircraft, especially military aricraft, and whilst I think the modern military aircraft are fascinating, I am much more enamoured by the WWII era aircraft, and this DVD has some of the best examples of those still flying today. Whilst I haven't had the opportunity to make it to the Omaka airshow, now with this DVD I can experience (although somewhat disconnectedly) the best of the 2001-2007 airshows.

It is incredible to see these beautiful pieces of engineering flying through the air with as much grace and style as when they were brand new.

Each segment is accompanied by a narration describing many interesting facts about the plane and in many cases some details of the history of the specific aircraft. Of course if the narration is boring you, then you could always switch to the second audio track to enjoy the planes in all their roaring glory without the narration.
