Having tried many headsets with my laptop, I had dispaired of ever finding a decent set that actually felt reasonably comfortable without being too cumbersome, so that it'd actually fit easily into the laptop carrycase. Well... problem solved!! Verbatim's little set of earplug headphones does the job nicely, sitting comfortably in my ears without hurting them like other sets have done, (although they do have a tendency to slip every now and then til they rest in the little groove at the bottom of my earhole... vaguely annoying, but a slight adjustment and they're back into place again, so no biggie really), and they tuck nicely into the laptop case in the small gap next to the laptop... or fit into my pocket when I'm using them with my MP3 player.
The volume adjustment switch on the cable was also very handy, as it saved a lot of fiddling around with the laptop's volume settings, and meant I didn't have to take the MP3 player out of my pocket, if all I wanted to do was change the volume. The switch amplified the volume enough to stun my ears into submission (and enough to create a headache if left like that too long... lol!!), and the sound was very clear, so that too was a lot better than with a lot of other headsets I've tried.
For anyone out there looking for a lightweight headset, whether for the computer/laptop or MP3 player/i-pod, this is well worth giving a go!!
