The book gives you a day by day study programme for the 8 Weeks leading up to the exam. The external examinations for NCEA Level 1 Mathematics comprises of: Algebra, Graphs, Probability, Number Problems, Right Angled Triangles and Geometry.
In this book you will find all the types of questions that could be asked in the exam as well as a complete NCEA-type examination for each.
This book will help you highlight any gaps in your knowledge and understanding so that you can go back and revise more thoroughly. The answers show clearly the amount of detail that is required for excellence.
I tried the book, over the recommended 8 weeks, but personally thought that the ratings of 'The ultimate exam prep book' and 'no student can afford to be without' were largely over rated. I would Not recommend this book to anybody. It may contain actual assessments and other things, but it doesn't tell how to do the equations, for example it may show 1+1 = __ and in the answers have '2' but it doesnt show how 1+1=2
Its not a training programme, it's like showing someone something, expecting them to do it but not showing them how.
