I have a love/hate relationship with macadamia nuts, prepared the right way I simply love them but eat too many (and it isn't even really that much) and my taste buds start to reject them. I also enjoy chocolate but it is another dish I can't eat much of, so I was keen to give these cookies a try and hoped that neither the nuts now chocolate would be too much for me to handle. I like that these come in a box, makes them nice and easy to store in my kitchen, no funny shapes. The cookies also aren't uniform in size, which I like and it wasn't long before the kids had all grabbed the biggest one that they could see in the packet.

Taste wise, these give off a strong shortbread vibe, which I love but alas, you guessed, I can't eat much of them due to how rich they are, but I didn't mind having to take my time eating my cookie, whereas my elder two wolfed their ones down and promptly asked for more. I found the ratio of nuts to chocolate was good, neither was overpowering of the other and the chunks weren't too huge for me to get annoyed by them. This would definitely be a treat cookie for me but I enjoyed it and the kids loved it, so I'm sure we will get some more again in the future.

When I read the brand Bad Baker, I had a giggle, I mean, why would you name your brand and intentionally put yourself down, but then, when my daughter asked, after tasting a biscuit, why they had named themselves that - Naughty Baker was we she decided they should change to!

All of the flavours from Bad Baker sounded delicious, but I am very partial to macadamia nuts and was glad to receive these. The flavour is officially white chocolate and macadamia nut, and I can absolutely taste those flavours. I did feel that it is quite like a shortbread, and personally would have liked more chocolate in them.

In saying that, my children, a friend and her three all tried them as well, and everyone loved them and asked for another (not going to happen!) I did laugh about keeping the biscuits for another serving, they are very very more-ish biscuits, that is for sure. However, the biscuits are not massive, but not teeny either), so I did not really feel too bad about having more than one.

I really enjoyed that these biscuits felt and tasted almost homemade. While they are more expensive than other biscuits, as a special treat they are pretty on par with others. They are a biscuit to be savoured rather than hoovered, as my Grandmother would say!

I would love to see a reuseable or resealable bag containing the cookies, or other more eco-conscious packaging options, but know that somewhat comes down to personal preferences.

I don't think I can begin to express how much cookies are a weakness in my life. Feeling sad yeah that definitely calls for cookies, but feeling happy does too! Or maybe even just because your having a hot cup of coffee and you know what coffee needs? Coffee needs cookies it's just like cheese and crackers right you can't have one without the other! It's probably this that makes me quite fussy when buying cookies but these Bad Baker Macadamia and White Chocolate Cookies are definitely a good buy and so delicious they are well worth adding to the essential treats list.

I would recommend them as a treat as they are more expensive than some of your regular store bought cookies but then again these really aren't your regular store bought cookie! These are just like a freshly baked home made cookie with all the buttery melt in your mouth deliciousness. I found they had the perfect amount of white chocolate pieces and crunchy bits of macadamia which is quite possibly one of my favorite combinations for sweet treats. Sometimes white chocolate can be quite sickly sweet but the balance is just right in these and just gives you those little bursts of sweetness.

My biggest lesson from having previously opened the bad baker double choc fudge cookies in front of the whole family, was too bring these out well after the children were fast asleep in their beds. This meant I got to devour a few before deciding whether I wanted to share with everyone else and in all honesty I didn't want to share but love hearing the children's opinions when I'm writing a review. It's fair to say the children loved them too so they are a hit with the whole family.

The Bad Baker packaging is great I love the boxed look it keeps the cookies protected from breakage but gives them that top quality look too. I think they would look great in a gifted food hamper for a special occasion like Christmas. They are a quality cookie and would make a great gift or to buy as a treat for the family or if you're like me a sneaky m only treat.

More often than not the only cookies we have in our household are ones I have baked as we usually run out of money with the groceries, occasionally we will splurge and buy some if money allows. My first impression of the packaging is positive, the box design is clever, with rolling pin pictures incorporated into the label. Macadamia nuts are my all-time favourite nuts, so I was excited to see if these cookies did the flavour justice, as the box claims these cookies are terribly tasty. The light blue writing and images on the cream background ensure that this box is visually appealing, and would certainly stand out on a shelf.

The cookies are held securely in a tray which is wrapped in plastic and then packaged in the box. I picked up a cookie and was pleased that the cookie was not crumbly and felt light in weight. This lightly golden coloured cookie is a perfect size, especially for the children's hands. My first bite was a tad disappointing in the fact that I didn't get any macadamia nuts, however, in the next mouthful I got the crunch overload I was craving. The cookie only took 3 bites to finish, and sure enough, when it was gone, I was craving more to eat, I could not stop at just one, or two for that matter.

Overall I recommend this product to any cookie lover, the texture of these provides a good crunch, and the white chocolate and macadamias team well together. I think at the cost these are, these would have to be a special treat cookie, not an everyday cookie. The stylish packaging would make these ideal as a gift in a gift basket or such. I look forward to seeing what else the Bad Baker company comes up with in the future.

I love macadamia nuts and white chocolate so was really looking forward to trying these biscuits. They come in an attractive cardboard box with some humour thrown in. It states "for those who think there's more than one serving here, store the remainder in an airtight container to keep them good for 20 minutes" and at the bottom of the plastic liner "Totally guilt-free, these cookies have never committed a crime". The ingredients are easy to read and with macadamia nuts and white chocolate chunks each making up 8% of the ingredients, I was sure these would be tasty morsels.

The biscuits are in a plastic tray with 6 biscuits on either side and encased in a plastic wrapper. Once opened, if you're going to save them, you will need to put them in an airtight container. Each biscuit was approximately 6cm x 4cm big and you could see both the macadamia nuts and chocolate pieces in the biscuit. However, when I tried one, the macadamia nuts overpowered the chocolate as I couldn't taste the chocolate. I wasn't disappointed though as they were delicious, sweet and buttery. My daughter asked for one and I graciously let her have one. She thought it was shortbread and really enjoyed it and asked for another (it was not forthcoming!) The packet showed a hand dunking a biscuit so I thought I would try that for my next biscuit. It was a real quick dunk as I could see the biscuit starting to crumble and didn't fancy eating the biscuit with a spoon. I can't say I would recommend this as a tea dunking biscuit!

Overall, I have to say I really liked these biscuits as they were sweet and tasty and quite filling. They didn't feel overly processed like some shop-bought biscuits. Although they are more expensive than your standard biscuit, they are not your standard biscuit, and they would be great for a treat if you had friends or family coming to visit or as an indulgent snack.

I had expected that the family would love this variety of biscuit; we all like macadamias and this would be a fun way to enjoy them. I was surprised, therefore, when the children were both reluctant to try them. Mr 11 did eat half of one but handed the other half to his father to finish - he said it was too sweet. Even my daughter, who is usually keen on anything chocolate, was not impressed. The older family members, however, just loved them. The biscuits have a creamy, chewy texture and a strong flavour of macadamia and vanilla, both of which were guaranteed to have me asking for more. I cannot eat some varieties of chocolate, but white chocolate is fine, so for me this would be certain to become a favourite. I happily ate two, one after the other; my son-in-law and partner both took a couple each as well.

I liked the irregular shape of the biscuits (which meant I could shamelessly grab the two biggest!) and the way that they melted in my mouth. The adults all thought they resembled a fine, rich shortbread: I think this may have been part of the appeal. When I was a child, you could buy marshmallow squares at the local bakery. They consisted of a shortbread base under a thick layer of marshmallow with dark chocolate icing on top. I can imagine these biscuits being used as a base for a similar "slice", or even just served warm with ice-cream and jelly for a party treat - possibly topped with a blob of cream and a pinch of chocolate sprinkles.

I would like to have done some more experimentation as I think these biscuits go beyond just being eaten straight from the packet. Their delicate flavour would go well in many other combinations. Unfortunately, there were not enough left after the three of us had done our tasting, so we just finished what was left in the packet.

One thing that did impress my daughter was the way the product was packaged. She commented on the list of ingredients on the back of the packet: it reads more like a recipe than the usual informative blurb which is invariably included, and which is hard to read because it is all itemised in one big sentence rather than a tidy table. She also appreciated the way that possible allergens (wheat gluten, macadamias, milk, soy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts and sesame) were clearly identified at the end of the list. Altogether the packaging was well planned and presented for maximum consumer information.

This is one product I will be adding to my shopping list for special occasions. It is not cheap, but considering the quality of the ingredients, it is worth keeping in the larder for an occasional treat. But I will be sure to reserve it for older people who will appreciate it.

I had high hopes for this biscuit. First impression was that it is a sturdy 'tea' dunking shape and thickness. It looks like it contains a decent amount of nuts. It has a good crunch and good shortbread taste, nice and buttery but not overly sweet. I was however disappointed that I couldn't really taste (and see) any of the white chocolate. All I could taste was Macadamia's, but not to say that was bad a thing as it was still a decent flavoured biscuit. Just felt it could have had more chocolate chunks to nut ratio.

The ingredients on the packet look good and not doesn't seem to be any extra processed things added. More like a homemade biscuit if you're successful enough to make your own shortbread. The packaging is attractive and recyclable which is great.

The amount of biscuits in the packet is a good amount as well to be able to share with the family and savour over a couple of rounds. The price of these are on the pricier side so wouldn't be an everyday biscuit in our household but definitely would come out for guests or special occasions. Overall still a decent cuppa tea bicky.

I did laugh when I read 'for those who think there's more than one serving here, store the remainder in an air tight container to keep them good for 20 minutes from now' my first thought was from past Bad Baker experience there were never any biscuits left and very likely if there were, less than twenty minutes would be required. So I was kind of shocked that after a hot chocolate and two biscuits I was completely satisfied.

I was also surprised at how much smaller these biscuits were then the other Bad Baker biscuits I have had. But in saying that I really like this size as the biscuit itself was rather rich. It reminded me of Shortcake with some bumps thrown in. I can't say that I tasted the white chocolate and I can only guess that the bumps were the Macadamia Nuts - so not as flavorful as I was hoping for.

My husband adored them and finished three without blinking. We did wait until our girls had gone to bed before opening the box but as my youngest hears anything food related it was not long before she needed a drink and turned up with a very noticeable frown and shocked look as well as a very angry 'you better leave me some'. I will be in trouble tomorrow morning but there is still seven more biscuits in the packet -so looks like I will be trying out the airtight container after all.

Not my favourite of the brand and in honesty I would rather go for the bigger chunkier biscuits that I have become accustomed to. But I guess for a night time snack, while watching a movie and drinking a hot chocolate and marshmallows this is okay and fills the spot nicely - I guess because it wasn't that full of flavour.
